Crying every day about having to go back to work because I didn’t even get a real holiday. 11 days of slowly moving all my furniture and my stuff to my new town, 4 days at my parents listening to them fight, 10 days of cleaning out my old apartment to get my deposit back (had to undo all the garden stuff, redo all the walls (take off the old wallpaper my foster kittens messed up, wash and rinse every cm of the wall, put up new “toile de rénovation” then 3 layers of paint)) and now the last few days of the holiday my mom is staying at my new apartment and basically forcing me to clean it so I can “not worry about the mess so I can be fully focused at work”.
I haven’t been to the mountains in exactly one year now, have had to give up everything in life that made me happy, have had to move to a city I don’t want to live in for a job I don’t love, 7 months later my foot injury still prevents me from walking anywhere far, I still can’t drive so I can’t go anywhere I want to go on my weekends, my friends are all busy with their babies and I’m absolutely losing my mind in every way possible.

behold, the strange and mysterious water park of tulsa. the oklahoman government forces their citizens to smile for photos as they slide down the slides, and only the wealthy elites who have ties to governor kevin stitt’s family are allowed access. poor families are only allowed to swim in the local river, which is routinely poisoned to keep them weak and unable to fight back.
always crazy to me how i could make aliyah right now and have a bunch of different organizations help me move to israel basically for free despite having not a single relative there or having ever been there before or having any family history remotely connected to israel for the past two thousand years. but my palestinian friends whos families were exiled cant return, cant or would have difficulty even trying to visit their remaining relatives right now, and would probably get harassed or killed by settlers if they tried to visit the towns their families used to live in that are now mostly populated by israelis. even with american passports palestinians trying to visit israel or palestine report this
and not only does israel do everything to encourage jews to move to there with ease, with the support of american and european governments, these same european countries that actually RECENTLY exiled us will make us go through hoops to try to return and gain citizenship in the places our ancestors are directly from

do you not know how disturbing it is as a Korean to see someone making a video about streetfood style Korean fried chicken and swarms of Black Americans in the comments being like “No, No didn’t you no that WE actually introduced fried chicken to these Koreans while we were over there occupying them, mass murdering millions of them and dropping over half a million tons of bombs on their country don’t get it twisted.”

In its historic ruling, the ICJ found that Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and Gaza is entirely unlawful, that Israel practices apartheid and racial segregation, and that all states are under a duty to help bring this to an end, including by cutting off all economic, trade and investment relations with Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. In other words, as a matter of international law, all countries are obliged to participate in an economic boycott of Israel’s activities in the occupied Palestinian territory and to divest from any existing economic relations there.
